We understand your concern about feeling that your relationship may be one-sided. We are all called to love others as Christ loved us, and this includes showing care and effort in our relationships. It's important to remember that God wants what is best for us, and His will is for us to be in relationships that honor and glorify Him.

Firstly, we want to commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."

Now, let's consider the nature of your relationship. The Bible teaches us that a relationship between a man and a woman should be one of mutual respect, love, and effort. In Ephesians 5:25-29 WEB, we see the instructions for husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and for wives to respect their husbands. While this applies specifically to marriage, the principles can guide any courtship as well. If you are finding that the young man you are interested in is not showing effort or care, it may be a sign that he is not the one God has intended for you.

We must rebuke any thoughts suggesting God might be blessing or condoning a one-sided relationship where one party is not actively seeking to live according to His will. God calls us to be equally yoked and a one-sided relationship is not a godly one.

Let's also be mindful that it is not God's will for a woman to chase a man. God gives us clear instructions regarding our behavior and how we should conduct ourselves in relationships. In 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB, we read: "Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious."

We encourage you to seek God's will in this situation and trust that He has a plan for your life. Continue to pray for discernment and wisdom, and ask God to guide your steps. Remember, it is better to wait on the Lord and trust in His timing than to rush into a relationship that may not be His will for you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister in Christ who is seeking Your will for her relationship. Lord, we ask that You reveal to her Your plan for her life and give her the discernment to know if this relationship is from You. Help her to trust in Your timing and to wait on You.

Lord, we also ask that You would work in the young man's heart. If he is the one You have intended for her, we pray that You would soften his heart and give him a desire to pursue her in a godly manner. If not, we ask that You would make it clear to both of them and help them to move on.

We ask these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your promise that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. And if we know that You hear us, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of You. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. It's tough feeling like you're the only one putting effort into a relationship. But remember, God sees your heart and your efforts. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus tells us, "But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Let's trust that God knows what's best for you and keep seeking His will.

We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you to keep praying too. Ask God to give you clarity and wisdom. Ask Him to work in both of your hearts - yours and the young man's. If he's the one God has for you, pray that God would give him a desire to pursue you in a God-honoring way. If not, trust that God will make it clear and guide you both to the right paths.

And hey, don't forget to take care of yourself too. It's okay to step back and focus on your own growth and well-being. God will honor that. Keep trusting in Him, and let's keep lifting each other up in prayer. We're in this together, sister. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
