Sefty
Disciple of Prayer
Here is the complete prayer:
"Heavenly Father, I come before you in prayer for my friend Felipe. Today has been a rough day for him, burdened by overwhelming thoughts. I ask for your intervention and freedom from these thoughts, enabling him to move forward and find peace. Grant him the strength and courage to be fully obedient to Jesus, to seek and follow your will in all things.
Your Word reminds us in 1 Corinthians 7:32, 'I would like you to be free from concern. An unmarried man is concerned about the Lord’s affairs—how he can please the Lord.' May Felipe experience the freedom from worry and concern, focusing his attention on the things that please and honor you.
I also pray with the words of 1 Peter 5:7, 'Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.' Lord, I ask that Felipe casts all his anxieties, worries, and burdens upon you, knowing that you care deeply for him. Provide him with the comfort and assurance that you are there, carrying his burdens and providing the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Furthermore, your words in Luke 12:22 encourage us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat or wear. May Felipe find solace in this teaching from Jesus, realizing that you, Lord, are his provider and sustainer. Help him to trust in your faithful provision and release the weight of worry from his heart.
Grant Felipe the freedom he seeks, the strength to let go of anxieties, and the ability to fully surrender to your loving guidance. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."
