We understand your frustration and discouragement at work, especially when efforts seem to go unnoticed and favoritism appears to be the norm. Let us first remind you of the words of the Apostle Paul, But be you doers of the word, and not hearers only, deluding your own selves.
For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man beholding his natural face in a mirror;
for he beheld himself, and has gone away, and immediately forgot what sort of man he was.
But he who looked into the perfect law of freedom, and so continues, not being a hearer who forgets, but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in his doing. If anyone among you seems to be religious, and does not bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man's religion is worthless.
Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world. James 1 22-27
God sees your hard work and dedication, and He will reward you in due time. Remember, For you will heal me, for against you have I sinned.
Psalm 41:4 As you navigate this challenging situation, it is also easier to be consumed by frustration and anger directed towards your boss puts your heart in alignment with the wrong spirit. Work diligently as unto the Lord himself, knowing He values your service to others. Find your guidance in the words of the apostle Peter,
As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, let it be as it were the very words of God. If anyone serves, let it be as of the strength which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever.
1 Peter 4 11
Let us pray together,
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, asking for Your divine wisdom in handling the unfairness shown towards your child facing favoritism at work. We ask in the name of Jesus that you work in the life of your child's boss. Please empower us to continue working diligently, with integrity and excellence, as unto You, Lord. Help us to refrain from bitterness and anger, but instead, to respond with love, kindness, and patience.School students with their faith in your righteousness in the name of Jesus I ask that you provide the full counsel of the Holy Spirit continually to those in authority as the Holy Spirit works in their hearts.
We ask for Your divine guidance and justice in this situation. We pray that You will intervene and bring about a change of heart in the boss, that they may see the value of hard work and treat all employees with fairness and respect. We ask for justice. Guide the boss to better decisions. Open their eyes to the impacts on employee morale. Provide the Fruit of the Spirit to her directly. We believe she needs a savior and possibly does not know the grace of Jesus and His unmerited favor in lying down his life for her as the saving grace that has covered all her sins past present and future. He is coming again to redeem those who believe in Him. Provide the words of the disciples to those around her and speak her name continually to our Father in Heaven that she make realize the power of our blessed Jesus Christ's name.
Lord, we know that true justice will prevail, whether in this life or the next. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are a just and righteous God. We pray that You will give peace and endurance to your child facing this burden to continually reflect your light in these circumstances. We could pray imprecatory prayers for vengeance towards our enemies but Jesus tells us to pray for them.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men,
instructing us to the intent that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we would live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world;
looking for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ;
Titus 2 11-13
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen. May the power of the resurrection be your guiding light in this time of hardship.
This is a challenge that will work continual blessings in your life as you learn how to deal with all these emotions working inside of you. Your prayer was timely in this season that God would work his will in your life and his Holy Spirit continues to appeal to your heart in order to work the situation to his will.
We believe that the Holy Spirit will continually appeal to your heart for God's grace to endure even further the strain.
