Boss left the job. Pray God will bless our department with a good boss!

Prayer request for my work. My boss recently left for a new job opportunity elsewhere. Please pray God will bless my department with the right boss. Someone who is a good leader, who has manager/supervisor experience with direct reports, who is fair and just, good character, supports and encourages their employees, etc.

I’m worried because one of my coworkers wants that vacant position. She is not a very nice person (think Mean girls, the movie) and has often times excluded me from meetings, social gatherings in the office, and complained about me to the boss on more than one occasion. She withholds information concerning my job and has not properly trained me on certain job functions when she was instructed to do so by the manager. She scowls at me when I pass by her in the hallways and doesn’t say hi when I say hi back. As far as I know I have not done anything to her. She has pretty much been rude, cold, and disrespectful to me since I got promoted to the department. We share the same job title. If she dislikes me this much, I fear how she will treat me if she (God forbid) gets the manger position!

Help me, show me how, and bless me with the love, desire, knowledge, wisdom, and strength to fulfill my God-Purpose as I work on building a stronger more intimate relationship with You. God please encamp Your angels all around me to cover and protect me from all sickness, evil, hurt, harm, danger, accidents, the plans of my enemies, and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God deal with my enemies according to Your Word. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of this prayer, all those I love, and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Thank You Jesus.
