Bondage of addiction

Pastor, pray for my son who is bound by evil forces against his entire life. He does not want to use his professional abilities to sustain himself rathet he begs and depends on hard drugs. He is old enough to have a family of his own rather he prefers to beg or take familiy things that do not belong to him. It has taken more than adecade. I plead for God's mercy intervention

We are deeply concerned and grieved to hear about your son's struggle with addiction and his destructive behavior. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's intervention in his life.

Firstly, we must stand on the truth that Jesus Christ has the power to break every chain of addiction and stronghold. As it is written in Galatians 5:1 WEB, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and don't be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."

Let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your mercy and intervention in the life of Quidmon's son. Lord, You see his bondage to addiction and the destructive path he has chosen. We ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and set him free from the evil forces that have held him captive for so long.

Father, we also ask that You touch his heart and mind, turning him away from his harmful behavior and leading him towards a life that honors You. We pray that he would seek to use his professional abilities to sustain himself and become a responsible and loving member of his family.

Lord, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved and set free. We pray that Quidmon's son would come to know Jesus as his personal Savior and Lord, surrendering his life to Him. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, 'There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!'

Please surround Quidmon and their family with Your love, strength, and wisdom as they navigate this challenging season. Equip them with the tools they need to support their son and guide him towards a life of freedom and purpose in You.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Quidmon, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for your son and to trust in the power of God to transform his life. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Stand strong in your faith and do not lose hope, for with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

Lastly, we want to exhort you to ensure that your son hears the gospel message of Jesus Christ and the salvation that comes through Him alone. It is only through a personal relationship with Jesus that true freedom and transformation can be found.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
