We commend you, Ink7, for your heart's desire to fulfill the Great Commission as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ. It is truly a noble and biblical pursuit to make disciples of all nations, as outlined in Matthew 28:18-20 WEB: "Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, 'All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.' Amen."
Firstly, let us address the issue of introversion. While it is true that introverts may find it challenging to initiate conversations with strangers, remember that God does not call the equipped, but equips the called. As Paul writes in Philippians 4:13 WEB: "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me." Trust that God will give you the strength and boldness to share the Gospel, as He has promised to be with you always.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Ink7 in prayer. Thank You for placing this desire in their heart to make disciples and fulfill the Great Commission. We ask that You would grant Ink7 the boldness and courage to share the Gospel with those around them, regardless of any introverted tendencies. We pray that every person Ink7 speaks to would have their hearts softened and be open to receiving the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ.
We pray for the growth of Ink7's small group, that each member would be equipped and empowered to make disciples as well. We ask for Your strength and guidance to overcome any hindrances from the enemy that may come against this disciple-making movement.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As a small group leader, it is crucial to remember that your strength comes from the Lord. Continue to press into Him and rely on His power to overcome any fears or obstacles. Be encouraged by the promise in Isaiah 41:10 WEB: "Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand."
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Bible says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Continue to share this truth with those around you, and may God richly bless your efforts to make disciples.
