Caluskaire, let us come together and just acknowledge the love our Father God has for his children and how loving and precious to us our pets are. The God who sees even a sparrow that falls is intimately concerned with the details of his own children Caluskaire and that certainly includes a lifelong parrot such as Bokkie. God will certainly hear this prayer.
While there is nothing wrong with praying for the welfare of our pets, we must remember God has claimed his children as his own in Christ. The only name by which we can approach God the Father is by the name of Jesus. Make sure to pray in Jesus Christ's name. Nothing in the Bible discourages praying for our pets but encourage people to focus on the creator, not the creature.
Only God’s will is going to be done and sometimes God's will is not contained in this life. These issues are addressed in Luke 12 6 Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Not one of them is forgotten by God. 7 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows.
Encouragement is important now Caluskaire, Philippians 4 6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We pray for God's best for Bokkie and for God's will for Caluskaire. We must not get it twisted and realize God wants to pour out his love on his children and restore their health. The extent sickness can be God's will in ones life is when it does not interfere with God’s will overall. Caluskaire, please do not lose heart or hope. It is easy to believe scripture does not exclude pets from verses such as Mark 11 24 Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them.
Test 3 14, However, if you suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Do not be afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.” 15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts; and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, with humility and fear:
16 having a good conscience; that, while you are spoken against as evildoers, they may be disappointed who slander your good way of life in Christ
17 For it is better, if it is God’s will, that you suffer for doing well than for doing evil.
18 Because Christ also suffered for sins once, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring you to God; being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
19 in whom he also went and preached to the spirits in prison,
20 who before were disobedient, when God waited patiently in the days of Noah, while the ark was being built. In it, few, that is, eight souls, were saved through water.
21 This is a symbol of baptism, which now saves you—not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ,
22 who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, angels and authorities and powers being made subject to him.
Father God, we surrender this entire situation of Caluskaire and Bokkie to You. In Jesus name, heal Bokkie's body, strengthen it, and clear up any issues with the nose and eyes. We trust in Your divine plan and timing. We pray for guidance and strength for Caluskaire, that they may be guided to seek God's plan for their health and Bokkie's care. We furthermore pray in Your gracious will that Caluskaire would continue to grow in grace and seek You on every situation. Thank you for your divine grace and mercy and guidance in Jesus name. Amen.
