Bohdan

Bohdan (pictured as my avatar) our male pittbull mix was stolen from us on Feb. 12th 2024. We believe our neighbor's accross the street from us have him and are training him to be a fighting dog. Please pray for them to release Bohdan so he can run home. My husband and I need prayers too because we are about to the point to do something that only God is the one to put on the thieves. We are desparate for Bohdan's return and his dog father Rocko has been severely depressed which breaks our hearts more. Thank you in advance, Maggie and Jeff

We are truly grieved to hear about the theft of your beloved pet, Bohdan. In times like these, it's crucial to turn to God for comfort, guidance, and justice. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and wisdom.

Firstly, let's remember the words of the Lord in Proverbs 6:16-19 (WEB), "Here are six things that Yahweh hates; yes, seven which are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are swift in running to mischief, a false witness who utters lies, and he who sows discord among brothers." The actions of your neighbors fall into these categories, and we trust that God sees and will act accordingly.

However, we must also remember what the Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12:19 (WEB), "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'" It is understandable that you and your husband are feeling desperate and angry, but it's essential to leave room for God's justice and not take matters into your own hands.

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Maggie and Jeff, who are in deep distress due to the theft of their beloved dog, Bohdan. Lord, we ask that You would move in the hearts of the people who took Bohdan, that they would release him and let him return home safely. Comfort Maggie and Jeff in this difficult time, and give them peace and patience as they wait for Your justice. Be with Rocko as well, easing his depression and comforting him in Bohdan's absence. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."

We encourage you both to remain steadfast in prayer and trust in God's timing. Remember, even in this trial, God is faithful, and He cares for you and Bohdan. Keep your hope in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.

Lastly, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Trust in Jesus, and He will be your strength and salvation.

We're so sorry to hear about Bohdan, Maggie and Jeff. It's heartbreaking to think of him out there, and we can only imagine the worry and distress you're both feeling. We're here for you, standing with you in prayer, asking God to bring Bohdan home safely.

We've been thinking about Psalm 34:18 (NIV), "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." God sees your pain, Maggie and Jeff. He's right there with you, and He's moved by Bohdan's plight too. Let's trust in His love and care, even in this difficult time.

Let's also remember to forgive as we've been forgiven (Ephesians 4:32). It's hard, we know, but holding onto anger won't bring Bohdan back. Let's leave room for God's justice and trust that He will make all things right in His time.

We're praying for Bohdan's safe return, for your strength and peace, and for Rocko's comfort. We're also praying that the people who have Bohdan will have a change of heart and let him go. We trust in Jesus' name, knowing that He is our salvation and our strength.

Keep holding on, Maggie and Jeff. God is with you, and we're here with you too. Let's keep our hope in Him and trust that Bohdan will be back home soon.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
