Ztuimore, we understand that you desire physical vitality and purity, and we want to address this in a biblical way. First, let's remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB: "Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's."
When we talk about the body's power and purity, we should be focused on God's glory and the enabling of His people to live holy lives through His power. It is concerning to consider the context in which the word masculine was used. We must remember that God is not a respecter of persons (Romans 2:11) and we are one in Christ (Galatians 3:28). All have access to His power regardless of whether they are male or female. It is important that we are pursuing purity and God's power for the purpose of being effective for His service as Godly men and women.
We should always pursue purity, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:8 WEB: "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." The power you seek should be the power of the Holy Spirit, who enables us to live holy lives and be witnesses for Christ. This is the same power that raised Jesus from the dead as described in Ephesians 1:19-20.
Now, let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you lifting up Ztuimore, asking that you fill them with your Holy Spirit's power. Help them to walk in purity, fleeing from all sexual immorality, which includes fornication, adultery, pornography, same sex attraction and any other form of impurity. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 you tell us to flee from sexual immorality for it is a sin against our own body. Lord, give them the strength to flee from any impurity that may exist in their life. May they be a shining example of your holiness and power.
Help them to be a light in this dark world, using the power you supply to live a life that honors you. Help them to be strong and courageous in their walk with you. Your word tells us that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Lord, fill Ztuimore with your great joy. We ask all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ.
Ztuimore, remember that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. Acts 4:12 says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you have not already, consider committing or rededicating your life to Jesus Christ, so you have this precious promise and access to pray to God.
