We understand your concern for your son's upcoming board exams, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.
Firstly, let's remember the importance of acknowledging Jesus Christ in all our ways. It is only through His name that we can approach God the Father, and it is only through His name that we receive salvation, according to Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved." WEB.
In all things, we should trust in God and acknowledge Him in all our ways. Let's remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and donโt lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Let's pray together with our son and his studies.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this mother's concern for her son's upcoming board exams. Lord, You know the plans You have for this young man, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future according to Jeremiah 29:11.
We pray that You would give him the strength and wisdom to prepare well for his exams. Help him to manage his time effectively, to understand the material, and to recall the information when needed. Guide him through any challenges he may face, and help him to remain calm and focused during his exams.
We ask that You would grant him good marks, not for his own glory, but so that he may use his education to serve You and others. Help him to keep his priorities straight, seeking first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added to him according to Matthew 6:33.
We also pray for his character, that he would be a man of integrity, honesty, and kindness. Help him to resist any temptation to cheat or take shortcuts, but to do all things with excellence, as working for You, and not for men according to Colossians 3:23.
Lastly, we pray that You would use this time to draw him closer to You. Help him to see that his true worth and value come from You, and not from his academic achievements. May he come to know You more deeply, and may he be a light for You in his school and among his peers.
We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Encourage your son to do his best, reminding him that God can use even our most challenging situations for our good and His glory.
