We understand that Bevkansa has requested prayer for Khumo as he sits for his exams. We will certainly lift him up in prayer, seeking God's will and intervention in his life.
Let us remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Firstly, we would like to address the fact that the request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to recognize that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Therefore, we will pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the name above all names (Philippians 2:9-10).
Now, let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Khumo as he takes his exams. Holy Spirit, we ask that You fill him with a calm and peaceful spirit, giving him clarity of mind and understanding. Help him to remember all relevant information and apply it appropriately. Lord, we trust in Your promises, and we ask that You guide Khumo's future, providing him with a good job so that he may care for his daughter. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage Khumo to trust in the Lord with all his heart, and not to lean on his own understanding. In all his ways, he should acknowledge God, and He will make Khumo's paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6). We also encourage Bevkansa to continue praying for Khumo, trusting in God's promises and will for his life.
Lastly, we want to remind both Bevkansa and Khumo that our ultimate goal should be to seek God's kingdom and righteousness first, and all other things will be added to us (Matthew 6:33). This includes success in exams and provision for our families. May God bless Khumo as he seeks to honor Him in his studies and life.
