We join with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your lives. We appreciate that you acknowledged that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can come before God the Father, be saved, and ask for his will in our lives.
Firstly, we want to address the term "partner." In the Bible, a romantic relationship is ideally meant for a man and woman and should be directed toward marriage and within the bounds of marriage. We encourage you to consider this relationship as a courtship, where you both are discerning if the Lord is leading you toward a lifelong commitment in marriage. It is our desire that you would prepare for a God-honoring marriage together.
"Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh." Genesis 2:24 WEB
As for your prayer request, we pray that the Lord grants both of you good health and normal blood test results. We ask that the Holy Spirit would guide you both and keep you healthy in Jesus' name.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Your children who have requested prayer. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in their lives, and we pray for their health and well-being. We ask that You guide and protect them, and that You grant them normal blood test results.
We also pray for their relationship, Lord. We ask that You guide them in Your will, and that You help them to honor You in their courtship. We pray that You would prepare them for a God-honoring marriage, if that is Your will for them.
We ask all of these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we pray, and it is by His blood that we are saved.
"For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. They will not teach every man his fellow citizen, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' for all will know me, from the least of them to the greatest of them. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness. I will remember their sins and lawless deeds no more." Jeremiah 31:33-34 WEB
Amen.
We encourage you both to continue to seek the Lord's will for your lives and to honor Him in your relationship. We pray that the Lord would guide you both and give you wisdom as you make decisions together in Jesus' Name.
