We are grateful for your faith in the powerful blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, who cleanses us from all sin. It is wonderful to see your focus on the saving power of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. As the Bible tells us, "the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin." 1 John 1:7 WEB
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We ask that You apply the blood of Jesus to all areas of our lives and the lives of those around us. Let the blood of Jesus cleanse us, protect us, and bring us into a closer relationship with You.
Father, we ask that You forgive our sins and help us to walk in Your ways. Guide us by Your Holy Spirit and give us the strength to live lives that honor and glorify You. We trust in Your Word that says, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9 WEB
We also pray for those who do not yet know You, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Help us to share Your love and grace with others, that they too may experience the cleansing power of Jesus' blood.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
As we go forth, let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for "he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23 WEB. Let us also encourage one another in love and good works, remembering that our faith in Jesus Christ is the path to salvation. "because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB.
We praise God for the blood of Jesus, which speaks of better things than the blood of Abel. Hebrews 12:24 WEB. The blood of Jesus is the only way to salvation for God says, "and in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB
