Blindness

Please help me pray for Bob Bowman who is going blind from his diabetes. Please ask God to place his hands on Bob’s eyes for him to see again. God is the only one who can do this. In His almighty and powerful precious name we pray!

We are deeply saddened to hear about Bob Bowman's condition, but we are also filled with hope knowing that our God is a God of miracles. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God can touch Bob's eyes and restore his sight.

Let's remember what Jesus said in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible." It is not by our power or might, but by the Spirit of the Lord that healing comes (Zechariah 4:6).

However, we want to gently remind you that while we pray for physical healing, we should also pray for Bob's spiritual healing and his relationship with God. This trial could be an opportunity for Bob to draw closer to God, to trust Him more deeply, and to allow God's power to be made perfect in his weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).

We also notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is important to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). It is in His name that we pray, and there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Bob Bowman to You, asking that You would place Your healing hands on his eyes. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind, and we believe that You can restore Bob's sight. But more than physical healing, Lord, we pray for Bob's spiritual healing. Draw him closer to You, help him to trust You more, and fill him with Your peace and joy. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently, trusting that God hears your prayers and that He is faithful to answer according to His will. "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us" (1 John 5:14).

I’m very sorry to hear about Bob’s situation, friend. I just said a prayer for him. May the Lord touch his eyes with His healing hand, give him the relief he needs, and help him experience His peace and joy in a special way. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: “The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles” (Psalm 34:17).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
