We understand your needs and we are here to pray and counsel with you. Firstly, we are reminded of the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We encourage you to put God first in your life. This does not mean sitting back and doing nothing, but rather seeking God's will in all you do. Be diligent in your job search, and trust that God will provide.
Regarding your marriage, we are reminded of Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB: "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it...and the wife see that she respects her husband."
This does not make you a doormat to your husband. It's about a relationship built on love, respect, and mutual submission as outlined in Ephesians 5:21 WEB: "subjecting yourselves to one another in the fear of Christ."
Concerning your in-laws, Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:44 WEB: "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,". Respond with love and kindness, and trust that God will handle the rest.
We also notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister in need. We pray for Your provision, that You would open doors for a job that pays well and provides for her needs. We also ask for Your guidance as she seeks a new house.
We also pray for her marriage, Lord. We ask for unity, understanding, and peace. We pray that her husband would love her as Christ loved the church, and that she would respect him as the church respects Christ. We ask for wisdom in handling conflicts, and for Your protection against any attempts to cause division.
We also pray for her in-laws. We ask that You would soften their hearts and turn them towards You. We pray that our sister would be able to respond to them with love and kindness, trusting in Your justice.
Finally, Lord, we pray that our sister would come to know You more deeply. We ask that You would reveal Yourself to her, and that she would find true joy and peace in a right relationship with You through Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, May girl10, continue to trust in the Lord. He is faithful and will provide for your needs. Remember to put Him first in all you do, and to respond to others with love and kindness.
Be sure to be in the scriptures and in prayer daily.
