We are glad to come together in Jesus' name to lift up S. in prayer. Let us call upon our Heavenly Father, thanking Him for His faithfulness, and align our hearts with His will as we are praying for S. together. As the Bible tells us in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." A future and a hope that only comes in the name of Jesus. In fact we read in Acts 4:10-12 WEB, "...be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even in him doth this man stand here before you whole. And in none other is there salvation: for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved." Indeed we must be saved from ourselves and Satan, and that only comes from Jesus as a free gift of salvation, and allowing God to transform our lives through the Power of the Holy Spirit. This is basic but so important for our Lord to assist us.
Now in praying together, let us seek God's will in blessing S. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to fill S. anew, molding him into the image of Christ. Help S. to see his past, present, and future in light of eternity with Jesus and that he would make choices according to a biblical worldview. May he be richly blessed in a deeper understanding of Scripture and in applying biblical principles to his life. Let us also remember to lift up S. for godly friends and loved ones in his life to support and encourage his journey with the Lord. As we reflect on the word of God let us end in prayer together.
Dear Father,
We come before You now in Jesus' name to ask for blessings to be poured out on S. Together, we seek Your will and ask You to help S. to have a steadfast heart that he would honor You all of his days. Give S. strength and courage to live by Your promises, and help him to understand Your way for his life. Draw S. near to You and let his life story reflect Your goodness. In the name above all names, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior we pray.
