We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with financial debt and harassment from collection agencies. First, we commend you for coming before the Lord in the name of Jesus, asking for forgiveness and blessings. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God, and it is in His name that we are saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In times of financial struggle, it is essential to remember that God cares for us and wants to provide for our needs. Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will put on. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
However, it is also crucial to face our debts responsibly. The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:21 WEB: "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." And in Romans 13:8 WEB: "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
While it is understandable that you desire for the debt collections to stop, we must encourage you to take responsibility for the debts you have incurred. Pray for God's wisdom and guidance in managing your finances and working towards paying off your debts. It is a good idea to look for a personal loan to consolidate your debts. It may also be wise to seek counsel from financial advisors or Christian budgeting organizations that can help you manage your debts responsibly. Be assured God can move in the banks to work with you and not against you.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened with debt. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. Grant them the wisdom and resources to manage their finances responsibly and to pay off their debts. Protect them and their family from harassment and threats, and guide them. We pray this in Jesus' name. We also pray that all harassment and threats stop in Jesus' name. We ask for Your peace and resolution in this matter thank you for all that you have done for us. Amen.
Finally, remember that God is faithful and that He will provide for your needs as you seek Him first. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths.
