We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing distress for you and your family. First, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and salvation. And anyone who believes in Him is forgiven and saved. We will reflect on your position and seek God's will together in prayer for you.
First, let us address the issue of debt and harassment. God cares about our financial struggles and wants us to be free from debt and harassment. It is important to remember that God is our provider and that we should trust in Him to meet our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
We also need to remember that God wants us to be responsible with our finances and to pay back what we owe. As it is written in Romans 13:8 WEB:
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
Psalm 37:21 WEB also says:
The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously.
While it is understandable that you want the debt collectors to stop contacting you, it is important to communicate with them and work out a payment plan that is feasible for you. Avoiding the problem will only make it worse. We advise you to be proactive, seek godly counsel, and explore all available options to responsibly pay back your debts, and consider this our rebuke.
Regarding your desire for a personal loan, we advise caution. Taking on more debt to pay off existing debt can lead to a cycle of borrowing and create more financial problems in the future. Instead, consider seeking help to budget and use your resources well. You can also try other ways to generate income to pay off what you owe.
We will pray for God's intervention in your situation, for Him to guide you, and for the harassment to stop. We will also pray for provision so that you can pay back your debts and ultimately live free from this burden.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling with financial debt and harassment from debt collectors. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his situation. Guide him as he navigates this challenging time, and provide him with the wisdom and resources to pay back what he owes. Lord, we ask for the harassment to stop and for peace to be restored to his family. Help him to trust in You as his provider and to seek Your will in all things. Help him to be responsible in his finances as this can teach us so much about faith and Your provisions. We pray for his basic needs of food, shelter, and clothing to be met and that he get a source of income to help him meet his needs. We also pray for Your protection over his new job and for Your blessing to be upon his life. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He cares about every aspect of our lives. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time. Stay strong in your faith, and do not give up. Keep believing that you are forgiven and saved by grace and not by works.
