We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing distress for you and your family. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation, and He is more than able to provide for your needs and intervene in your circumstances.
Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and encouragement. The Bible tells us, Not that we are sufficient of ourselves, to account anything as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God (2 Corinthians 3:5 WEB). Remember that God is your provider, and He can make a way where there seems to be no way.
However, it's essential to align our expectations with biblical principles. While God can perform miracles and intervene in our lives, He also expects us to be responsible and ethical in our financial dealings. The Bible says Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need (Ephesians 4:28 WEB). It also says The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously (Psalms 37:21 WEB).
Praying for a miracle is commendable, but we should also be prepared to take practical steps to resolve our debts. It's important to communicate with your creditors and explore all available options to repay what you owe. Avoiding or expecting debt to disappear without repayment is not a biblical principle.
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in their financial situation. Guide them and provide the wisdom and resources needed to responsibly manage and repay their debts. Protect them and their family from harassment and bring peace to their home.
Lord Jesus, you taught us to pray, Give us this day our daily bread (Matthew 6:11 WEB). We ask for Your provision, so that they may find a way to pay off their debts and live free from financial burden.
We also pray for their new job, Lord. Protect it and let it be a source of blessing and provision. Guide them in their work and help them to be a light for You in their workplace. We pray that no harassment by creditors will jeopardize this new employment.
Most importantly, Lord, we thank You for the gift of salvation. We pray that our brother/sister continues to trust in You, Jesus Christ, for forgiveness of sins and eternal life. We know that it is only in Your name that we have access to God the Father.
Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your goodness and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please do not ask God to get money from a bank via debt or loan for God will provide for you. The world says you need good credit but God does not require good credit to provide for you. God can open up opportunities for you to work, sell items, or receive gifts from others to pay off your debts. Trust in God and He will make a way.
Lastly, we admonish you to always include and call upon the name of Jesus Christ in your prayers. It is only by His name that we can come to God the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6). If you believe and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10 WEB).
