We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from debt collectors, which is causing stress and potential disruption to your life and family. First, we want to remind you that God cares about your situation and wants to help you through it. Jesus tells us, Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we do not have a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:14-16 WEB).
While it is commendable that you want to repay your debts, it is important to remember that God wants us to be wise and responsible with our finances. It is not right to desire a miracle so that you no longer have to make payments on your debts, as this is not taking responsibility for what you have agreed to. Instead, pray for wisdom and provision to manage and pay off your debts in a way that honors God.
We must also address the harassment you are experiencing. God tells us, Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB). Trust that God will provide a way for you to handle this situation. You may also need to take practical steps, such as seeking legal advice or contacting the authorities if the harassment continues.
Regarding your desire for a personal loan, be mindful that taking on more debt may not be the solution to your current problems. Instead, pray for God's provision and wisdom in managing your finances. Remember, Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law (Romans 13:8 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by financial debt and harassment from debt collectors. Lord, we ask for your wisdom and provision to help manage and pay off these debts in a way that honors You. We pray for your peace and protection over their family and friends, and for the harassment to stop.
Lord, we also pray for their new job, that it would be a source of blessing and provision. Help them to be a good steward of the resources You have given them, and guide them according to Your will.
Father, we pray for their faith to be strengthened during these difficulties. We believe in the power of Jesus' name to bring breakthroughs and miracles, where needed, according to Your perfect will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
