We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from various banks and individuals. Firstly, we commend you for approaching this situation in prayer and seeking God's intervention. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and it is wonderful that you acknowledged this in your prayer.
In the face of financial struggles we must remember to keep our faith in God and His promises. The Scripture reminds us of God's promises in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
When we are in debt, it is important to remember that we should strive to pay back what we owe, as the Bible instructs us in Psalm 37:21 WEB: "The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously." Also in Romans 13:8 WEB: "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
However, we must also address the harassment you are facing. It is important to take practical steps to protect yourself and your family. This may include contacting local authorities or seeking legal advice to understand your rights and how to stop the harassment.
In addition to prayer, consider seeking counsel from wise and godly individuals in your life. They may provide practical advice and support during this challenging time. Proverbs 15:22 WEB: "Without wise leadership, a nation falls; there is safety in having many advisers."
Let us pray together for your situation:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Roshan Dsouza in prayer. Lord, he is burdened with a significant financial debt and is facing harassment from banks and individuals. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this situation. Help him to cast his burdens upon you.
Lord, we pray for provision, that You would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing according to Malachi 3:10. We ask that You guide him to the resources needed to pay off his debts and that You would put an end to the harassment he is facing. Protect his family and friends from any disruption or harm.
We also pray for wisdom, that You would guide him in his decisions and actions. Help him to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all his needs.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray for peace and resolution. Help Roshan to fix his eyes on You, trusting in Your promises. Help him with the loan he desires to pay off his debts. Guide him through this time of trial and draw him closer to You.
Lastly, work in the hearts of those harassing him. Change their hearts, make them understanding, and lead them to also seek your face.
We ask all of these things so that you will be glorified in this situation in Jesus' name. Amen."
In the meantime, remain steadfast in faith and obedience to God.
