Firstly, we commend you for coming in the name of Jesus, as it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
In matters of debt, God encourages us to be diligent in paying back what we owe. Psalm 37:21 WEB states, "The wicked borrow, and dont pay back, but the righteous give generously." Additionally, Romans 13:8 WEB says, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
While it is commendable that you desire to repay everyone, it is crucial to manage your expectations and actions according to biblical principles. Praying for the cancellation of debts without repayment is not in line with scriptural teachings. Instead, we should pray for wisdom, guidance, and provision to meet our obligations.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up Roshan in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his financial situation. Grant him the wisdom to manage his debts responsibly and provide for his needs according to Your riches in glory. Protect him and his family from harassment and guide him to a peaceful resolution with his creditors. Help him repent of any past poor decisions and forgive him for any sins related to borrowing and spending beyond his means. Help him to follow your plan for his life and finances.
Lord, we also pray for Roshan's Job situation and that it will not be jeopardized by this situation. We ask that You guide him in his career and provide opportunities for advancement and financial stability. Help him to renew his mind and live as a new creation in Christ Jesus. Help him to be a hard working employee as though working for you rather than men.
In Jesus' name, we pray for provision and a miracle for Roshan to secure a personal loan of 5 lakh rupees, but only if it aligns with Your will and is the best course of action for him. Help him to use the funds to pay off his debts and improve his financial situation. Lord, we ask that You work in the hearts of those he owes, including Sagar, Santosh, and the banks, to grant him favor and patience as he works towards repayment. Help him to become a good steward of the resources You provide.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Roshan's peace and emotional well-being. Comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help him to trust You even as this difficult time. Help him to remember your promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" and your teaching in Matthew 6:25-31 WEB: "Therefore I tell you, dont be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isnt life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they dont sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Arent you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They dont toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, wont he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore dont be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things."
Father God, help Roshan to continue to seek first your kingdom and your righteousness and your will be done in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a resolution to this financial burden and for God's will to be done in Roshan's life as well as for his family. Help them to be strong and courageous. Help Roshan to be the spiritual leader of his family. Amen.
