They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
First, we commend you for coming before the Lord in Jesus' name, acknowledging your sins, and seeking forgiveness. It's crucial to remember that God's forgiveness extends to all areas of our lives, including financial decisions that may have led to the current situation.
Regarding your debt, it's important to remember that we are called to repay what we owe, as Psalm 37:21 says, "The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously." Additionally, Romans 13:8 reminds us, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." While it may be overwhelming, God can work miracles, make a way, and even change the hearts of those you owe. Instead of hoping that your debts will be miraculously cancelled, pray for provision and strength to pay them back. Trust that God will provide the necessary resources to help you repay your debts over time. This does not need to be a personal loan, but can simply be provision.
We pray with you for an end to the harassment from the banks and individuals. Let's pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will treat you with kindness and respect as you work towards repaying your debts. There is no need to be afraid of this situation and Jesus has said that he will be with us through all things.
Let's also address the potential disruption to your new job. Trust that God has given you this job for a purpose, and He will protect it. Keep praying that your workplace will not be affected by these issues and ask God for wisdom.
