We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and the hassle of constant harassment from banks and individuals. First, we want to assure you that God cares about your situation, and He is willing and able to help you. When we go through trouble, we are not to be anxious. Instead, we should pray and thank God for His help (Philippians 4:6-7).
Let's remember: In the King James Bible God commands, I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek
for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 4:25-34 KJV).
We see from Jesus that the first principle with handling our finances is to be a cheerful giver rather than focusing on what we do not have.
We also see in I Timothy 6:10 that For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
Sometimes, it is God's will that you go through the consequences of your mistakes to learn valuable lessons that you would not learn otherwise in life.
For loans which you have incurred, it is not right to ask God to cancel your debts.
For in Psalms chapter 37 we read in the King James Bible:
37:21. The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth.
While we can hope that god will take away the harassment and grant financial prosperity through legitimate means, it is unfair to ask God to make the people you borrowed from forgive the debt. We should instead pray that God allows us to work and repay our loans. Do not simply hope for divine intervention to close your accounts. This is not a proper Way to pay them. It is unjust to cancel your debt as it is owed to another.
Ultimately, remember it is God who gives the ability to work and earn money.
Declare bankruptcy would be the fair and legal course of action.
The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest. You can read the parable of the talents in Matthew 25: 14-30, indicating that we should use our resources wisely.
Also, know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood according to Ephesians 6:12. So rest in God's peace, knowing that He is in control.
And it came to pass, that on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple, and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes came upon him with the elders, And spake unto him, saying, Tell us, by what authority doest thou these things? or who is he that gave thee this authority? And he answered and said unto them, I will also ask you one thing; and answer me: The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then believed ye him not? But and if we say, Of men; all the people will stone us: for they be persuaded that John was a prophet. (Luke 20:1-6 KJV).
Regarding the harassment, we have introductory evidence we are to treat each other by the golden rule (Matthew 7:12). We are to refrain from using harassment o collect a debt. Do not forget these lenders need to respect you as much as you need to respect them.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Roshan Dsouza, who is burdened by financial debt. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, He has already repaid more than borrowed.
Lord, we ask for the harassment he is being subjected to that is making him feel miserable to stop. Lord, we rebuke harassment in the name of Jesus Christ. Our lord never did this to people and demanded their creditors and a lender to treat the debtor as Jesus would have telling us to love others even if they owe a debt. Lord let this be a lesson to both the debtors and creditors on fairness. . We ask for fairness and justice and the banks and lenders to be kind to Rosha. We pray for interference to stop, so He may have peace and be able to progress without any harassment calls from a collection agency. We pray that they would not disrupt his new job in any way.. We are also rebuking any threatening behavior in Jesus' name. Please put an end to all harassment. and we instead pray for favor from all those Roshan owes. We also pray the bank's harassment unto Roshan be relieved.
Lord, let this be a lesson for Roshan and the lenders.
Lord, teach him with Your Word, wisdom, financial literacy, and accountability on debt and how to go through life. Let him know that if he should only buy such things he can afford to purchase. Let him know to only purchase items on credit that still allows him to have non-trivial savings in his bank account at the end of the day. Allow him to have proper management of his money and to use his finances wisely going forward. We don't wan to see him burdened as he is again. We also ask forgiveness if he had any wrongdoing with it why he borrowed. Let him know to make good choices with his money and not be a servant of material goods and to give when he can.
But Lord, please relieve and bring an end to all debt that is not owed and especially legally. UI know forbidding interest and in Ecclesiastes Chapter 5 we read:
Better is the sight of the eyes than the wandering of the desire: this is also vanity and vexation of spirit. That which is wanting cannot be numbered: the heart of fools folds itself. If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.
Furthermore, the abundance of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field. He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity. When goods increase, they are increased that eat them: and what good is there to the owners thereof, saving the beholding with their eyes?
The sleep of a labouring man is sweet, whether he eat little or much: but the abundance of the rich will not suffer him to sleep. There is a sore evil which I have seen under the sun, namely, riches kept for the owners thereof to their hurt. But those riches perish by evil travail: and he begetteth a son, and there is nothing in his hand (Ecclesiaties Chapter 5).
For this is an important, we want people to focus on helping others and not focus on the love of money and possessions. Lord, please have forgiveness of Roshan Dsouza and all people involved.
We also pray for Roshan Dsouza to have his financial issues be reconciled.
Let him no longer be pestered by his debt collectors and lenders.
Please relieve his stress and anxieties financially, in Jesus Christ name we pray, and we pray for for Roshan Dsouza God provides and protects rebuking any potential unemployment.
Lastly, Lord, please place the right people around Roshan. Grant him wise counsel and discernment regarding his financial decisions.
God, you see Roshan's needs. Also your word states, Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2). We also bring this up to Roshan Dsouza to consider when making choices.
We ask that You provide for him abundantly, as You did for the Israelites in the wilderness. We ask this in Jesus Christ name and thank You for all that You are going to do.
Lastly, we read in the Epistle of James:
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh. 9 Grudge not one against another, brethren, lest ye be condemned: behold, the judge standeth before the door ( James Chapter 5).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us bring this before the Lord daily and study his Word diligently and pray for Roshan Dsouza and all else involved.
