Roshan,
We understand that you are facing a significant financial burden and harassment from various banks and individuals. We want to help and encourage you with sound financial advice, moral admonishment, and spiritual guidance. First, recognize that God is faithful and that He cares for you and your needs. We are instructed in the Bible not to be anxious about what we will eat, drink, or wear in Matthew 6 25-34. We should work, pray, and trust. God knows what we need. However, we are responsible for what we owe!
We need to address multiple issues in your request. You seem to want God to take away debt without further payment and provide money at the same time.
It sounds like you used multiple sources of credit in multiple places and did not pay back those loans. This is a serious issue. An important topic in this situation is Integrity.
Psalms 37 21 says
The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously.
The fact that you did not pay back your loans because you thought you paid more than you borrowed is what the Wicked do! They borrow and do not pay back. You also seem to be wanting a miracle to stop payment, which also is something the wicked would want.
Use honest scales, an honest eifah, and an honest bath. I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. Leviticus 19 36
Even though you are trying to pay back your creditors and this shows good intentions, the Bible tells us that it is the wicked that borrow and do not pay back. Psalms 37 21
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have. For He has said, "I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you." Hebrews 13 5.
You can borrow money or lend if there is a need; however, excessive debt is a dangerous issue and is warned against continually in the Bible. If you have already borrowed, you must pay back what you owe. The Bible repeatedly warns against laziness and encourages hard work and then giving to others in grace and love.
Let him who stole steal no more, but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
Ephesians 4 28
We will pray for God's wisdom and intervention to stop the harassing phone calls to you. The best solution to stop the phone calls permanently is to arrange regularly scheduled payments you can make and keep. There is no miracle to make your debt payments stop while still owing.
First, since you have a job, make a budget. There are many Bible passages that discuss planning and counting the cost of following Jesus. Even though the preferred method in the Bible is to save before you need funds and give to others, God understands and has financial instructions in the Bible for a reason. You will need to Live on Less Than You Make! You may need to significantly adjust your lifestyle. Having cable television is not a right. Having a car you can not afford is not prudent. Reduce your expenses significantly and stay committed to your reduced lifestyle for a long time, as long as needed.
In Matthew 25 14 30, the master rebukes the servant for not using and increasing his talents. We must try our best and not throw away valuable things or waste what we have.
James warns the rich in James 5 1-6, who had been living in luxury yet were fraudulent. We know that if we are rich, we are not to put our hope in the uncertainty of riches but in God.
1 Timothy 6 17.
You should cut your lifestyle to the bare minimum and work. Cut out your cell phone, cable if combined with phone, eat rice and beans just as examples. If you have still stuff you can sell, do so.
Now considering you want another loan:
You are asking to borrow more money from another lender to pay off debt you have. Do not get into a cycle of borrowing to pay off debt. When you incur debt, you become a slave to the lender, and the borrower is the slave of the lender. Proverbs 22 7 It may be wise to borrow for a home or other reason but try to avoid debt!
Romans 13 7. 8 says:
Give everyone what you owe him: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; If revenue, then revenue; If respect, then respect; If honor, then honor. Owe no one anything, except to love one another; For He who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.
By asking God for a loan, you may be weakening your position with God. You are putting yourself in more debt bondage with no other debt help guaranteed. The wicked are too proud to repent of their decisions and want God to fix the outcome. God will not be used as a slot machine that gives what you want any more than you deserve to be asked for it.
It is possible by God's grace for you to be forgiven much, but not without repentance and not necessarily from your financial obligations. Repent, turn around, and work hard. Let us Pray Fervently for you.
Lord, we ask for your mercy on Roshan. We pray that he may humble himself, work to repay his debts, and align his life with your principles of work, budgeting, and forsaking false dealings. If his situation has worsened because of this sin, forsake mercy but not justice. However, help him walk in the light. Help him learn from his decisions and work hard to pay back his debts. Help him to pick up the task again, be diligent and hardworking, and no longer in bondage to the lender. Please decrease the harassing phone calls and his fear of them, especially for has wife and child. However, we humbly ask for your justice in this situation, not just mercy, and be sure that Roshan works and is made to paid off his debt. Help Roshan be conformed to the likeness of Christ. Help Roshan become diligent in working, providing for his family, and giving to the poor. Help Roshan find the rich grace of humility and sincere prayr. Let your grace fall on Roshan. Rise up Roshan we pray in Jesus name Amen
There is no other name by which we can be saved. We will pray for this situation and encourage you to align your life with biblical principles.
