Roshan, we appreciate your heartfelt prayer and we stand with you in this challenging time. We come to You, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, the Bible exhorts financial responsibility and encourages us choose to be content and live within our means. Paul said: "Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know how to be abased, and I know also how to abound: in everything and in all things have I learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in want. Philippians 4:11-12." Let this be a testament to trusting God in all circumstances. We have to live life with our faith being real. We should never be afraid to call out a situation. If you live a lifestyle you can not afford with borrowing at interest being the main purpose, this is both foolish and the Bible calls it sin.
As the Bible calls us to be responsible with our finances, it is clear to avoid borrowing as much as possible. No where is this clearer than in Proverbs 22:7 "The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender." You have allowed many lenders to have a portion of your paycheck and rule over you in harassment. We urge you to avoid this in the future. We encourage you to live within your means, trusting God to provide for your needs rather than relying on debt. Remember the words of Romans 13.8 "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law."
Also, we also consider Psalms 37:21, "The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous give generously". We are never in a place where we should borrow with no desire to pay or sustainability of paying back debt. You appear to pick and choose which lenders you have no remorse for paying back while feeling you paid them too much already. You have a heart to pay one place, but your repentance must be for all areas of not being responsible with your finances. There is never a reason to not pay back at all and keep it. This is called stealing. "You shall not steal". God considers not paying back a debt stealing. Instead, communicate and make arrangements with all the lenders.
We understand your distress and we will pray for God's intervention in your financial struggles but be realistic about paying this back. Do not look for a big miracle to make all debt be taken from you. God wants you to learn from this experience. Do not rely on a large windfall or winning the lottery. Instead, continue to strive to earn an honest living. "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have something to give to him who needs". We have to balance living on God's provision and also doing all the work we can.
Firstly, let us address the harassment you are facing. We pray that God will shield you and your family from these distressing calls and visits. This harassment is a sin of your lenders. We rebuke these devilish actions and pray for mercy regarding the harassment of your friends and family as well.
Lord, let me speak to you as well as to Roshanne. God has given you ability to work hard and earn honestly. First, we also ask God to grant you wisdom, expertise, and favor in your new job. We pray that God will grant wisdom, stature, growth and honest treatment in fairness to Roshan at your job. We pray this so that you will be blessed with the ability to pay off your debts responsibly tithing and seeking God's will in your financial affairs. We stand with you and pray God's blessings. You have to trust God and not extract yourself from your situation without realistic planning.
With this in mind we need to pray realistically. Please be cautious it is wrong to immediately seek another loan to cover the mismanagement and sins of the past. This is not living wisely with the Biblical principles we discussed. You should pray for their mercy, not for them to credit you with more money. God wants you to be the lender not the borrower. We know it is highly unlikely that God would bless you with more credit, before your current situation is worked out.
We know that debt can be a heavy burden, and it is important to keep in God's word as we seek deliverance. We are reminded to trust the God who cares for His children. “Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" Matthew 6 25-26.
Regarding your concern with Sagar and Santosh we pray that God will change their hearts to treat you fair. If their actions are intended for evil God can turn the situation around even the enemies harassment to good.
Finally, we leave you with this reminder. We do not put our trust in man, but in God. The Bible says "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of Yahweh our God" Psalm 20:7
We see from your prayer that you fully believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Saviour. It is only Jesus' Blood and salvation that would allow us to have approach with God the Father. We testify and believe that Jesus Christ is God's only son. If you have never accepted this Jesus Christ as your own personal saviour. We would admonish you to do this today asking him to come into heart today. If wanting to do this please say a prayer similar to the following. "Dear Lord Jesus, I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that do not please you. I have lived my life for myself and my will.
I am sorry and I repent. I ask that you forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life; I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that the pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you. Amen"
