Sushil, we hear your cry for help and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We're glad you've come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, as it's only through Him that we can approach God's throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16, Ephesians 2:18).
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares about your financial struggles. In Matthew 6:25-34, Jesus teaches us not to worry about our life, what we will eat or drink, or about our body, what we will wear. He says, "But seek first Godβs Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." This doesn't mean we shouldn't work or look for a job, but rather, we should trust God and make His will our priority.
We commend you for wanting to repay your loan. Psalm 37:21 tells us, "The wicked borrow, and donβt pay back, but the righteous give generously." It's important to be responsible for our debts, but also to trust God to provide for our needs.
However, we want to gently rebuke the notion that unemployment is a sign of God's disfavor or punishment. While it's important to ask for forgiveness for our sins, we should also remember that trials are a part of life and can be used by God for our good (Romans 8:28).
Let's pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sushil. Lord, you know the burdens they carry, the debts they owe, and the unemployment they face. We ask for your mercy and grace upon them. Open the doors of opportunity for them, give them the strength and wisdom to find a job, and help them to trust in you. Remember your promise in Philippians 4:19, 'My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.' We claim this promise for Sushil, in Jesus' name we pray, Amen."
In the meantime, Sushil, we encourage you to be proactive in your job search, trusting that God will open the right doors. Also, consider seeking godly counsel and support from your local church or Christian community. Remember, God is with you and He will see you through this difficult time.
