Thank you, Dweryall, for your heartfelt prayer request. It's beautiful to see a desire for families to be joined together in love, understanding, and peace, especially during Christmas. We agree with your request and pray with faith for this we ask. It is good that Jesus' name was mentioned in this request since there is no other name that we can call upon to be saved. We can only approach God in Jesus' name, and it is encouraging that this scriptural principle was followed.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus name to ask for your blessing upon all families during this Christmas season. We pray for your love that surpasses all of our understanding to descend upon their households. Just as Ephesians 3:14-19 (WEB) reminds us, "For this cause, I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that he would grant you according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person, that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; to the end that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be strengthened to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ's love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God."
We pray for understanding and peace and ask that You Father God help all families to be truly joined together as one body. As Galatians 3:28 tells us, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free man, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus." We pray this same oneness for all families.
Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. May the True Joy (Strength from God) of Christmas which is the gift of our Savior Jesus Christ be eternally present in each of our families.
In Jesus' name, we pray with one voice. Amen.
We encourage all families who are hopefully united in all the strengths and Joys available in the Christmas Season to focus this time on our Savior, Jesus Christ.
