We join with you, Sushil, in lifting up your prayers for the new year 2025. It is so important to seek God's blessings and guidance as we enter into a new season. We appreciate your mention of Jesus but offer a gentle correction. Remember it is only in Jesus' name, we have access to the Father.
Firstly, let us address the desire for financial stability. God cares about our every need, including our financial well-being. In Matthew 633 WEB it says, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, as we pursue God's kingdom and righteousness, we trust that He will provide for our financial needs. We pray that God will grant you wisdom in managing your finances and that He will open up opportunities for you to overcome any financial crisis. As we read in 2 Corinthians 98 WEB, God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.
Regarding the request for anointing. In the New Testament, all believers have received an anointing. In 2 Corinthians 11:21 WEB, Now he who establishes us with you in Christ, and anointed us, is God. Also in 1 John 2:20,27 WEB, But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all have knowledge. I have not written to you because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it, and because no lie is of the truth. ... But the anointing which you received from him remains in you, and you don’t need for anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is no lie, and even as it taught you, you will remain in him.
Spiritual growth is a vital aspect of our Christian walk. We are encouraged in Colossians 316 WEB, Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. We pray that God will grant you a hunger and thirst for His Word, and that you will grow in your relationship with Him daily. Remember, spiritual growth is a journey, and it requires patience, obedience, and a willingness to be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sushil and their prayers for the new year. We ask that You grant them the blessings and anointing needed to overcome any financial crisis, and that You provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. We also pray for their spiritual growth, that they may draw closer to You and be transformed by Your Word and Spirit. Help them to love and serve You and trust you in all things. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
