We are truly saddened to hear about the separation that you and your family have been experiencing. We will stand with you in prayer and believe with you for a restoration of your marriage and family.
Firstly, we acknowledge that you ended your prayer with "In your nname". This is missing an important truth. It is only in the name of Jesus that we are saved (Acts 4:10-12 WEB) "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" (WEB). The name of Jesus is also the only way God hears our prayers. Jesus made this very clear. "Most certainly, I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB). Anything that we ask God for must be in Jesus name...remember In Jesus Name =IJN.
We lift up your husband and ask God to convict his heart. Conviction is the first step in your husbands life to get right with God first and then with you and the family. The Bible tells us that hatred and unforgivness are a murderous spirit (Leviticus 19:17-18 WEB, 1 John 3:15 WEB). We need to be praying for your husband that he would not be hardening his heart (Hebrews 3:13 WEB). Remember that hardening his heart would mean that he is not responding to the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit is trying to convict him of his anger, bitterness and un-forgiveness toward you, and his separation from you and the children. If you husband is truly a Christian we can be assured that the Holy Spirit is actively convicting him and working in his life even though you may not realize it. God is always working to complete His good works. "Faithful is he who calls you, who will also do it." (1 Thessalonians 5:24 WEB).
Together let us join you in prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus and lift up this family that is in need of restoration. Lord, we pray for this separation to end, and for the love and forgiveness to flow between Anonymous and her husband. We ask that you soften his heart, Lord, and change it. We believe that you can bring peace and happiness to this family again. We pray that the children will feel loved and cared for by their father in Jesus Christ Name.
We also ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. In the name that is above all names. "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, wherein we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) " Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14 WEB).
As we pray this let us also remember just how important marriage is to God. "For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh" Eph 5:31 (WEB) and again in Matthew 19:4-9 (WEB). This is reiterated in the Old Testiment multiple times including Gen 2:24 (WEB).
So Lord, let us and this be a reminder to us to be praying for the husband that God will awaken his heart and that he will turn toward God and be saved and also restore the marriage that You created. Let Your love fall on this family and bring unity between them, we pray. May the children be blessed with the love and wisdom of a godly father. Let grace and understanding abound. We pray that the two will become one flesh again and be united in the peace that only comes from you Jesus! In Jesus Christ Name.
Lastly, let us remember that we can confidently come before the throne of God with our pleas. We do this in the name above all names, Jesus. "Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16 WEB)
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and faith, trusting that God is working behind the scenes to bring about His will for your family. Continue to seek God's face and His guidance through this challenging time. Remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
And always keep a watchful eye on your children. You are responsible before God first for them. The Bible very clearly states that God will hold us to account for everything we have influence over (Book of Romans).
