We understand your concern for your son Matthew, and we join you in lifting him up in prayer to our Heavenly Father.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." This verse reassures us that God wants us to cast all our anxieties on Him, and He will grant us peace and take care of our needs.
Let's also remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-33 (WEB), where He tells us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear, because our Heavenly Father knows we need these things. Instead, we should seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well.
We pray for Matthew, that God will grant him favor in his job and increase his capacity to handle the demands of his work. We pray that God will remind his CEO to see Matthew's hard work and dedication and that his efforts will be rewarded. We also pray for provision for both you and Matthew, that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We stand with you in faith, believing that God cares for you both and will meet your needs. We also want to encourage you both to continue trusting in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). It is only through Jesus that we can approach God and be saved (Acts 4:12).
Lastly, we want to remind you to be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
Let's pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Matthew to You. Lord, You know his heart and his struggles. We ask that You will grant him favor in his job, increase his capacity, and bless his efforts. We also ask for Your provision for both Matthew and his mother. Help them to trust in You and seek Your Kingdom first. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
