Anne11, thank you for sharing your praises and requests with us. We join you in thanking God for the wonderful meal and for arriving home safe. It's a blessing to acknowledge God's goodness in the daily provisions, and for protection for each one of us. We are reminded of God's care for us in the Lord's Prayer, where Jesus taught us to pray, Give us day by day our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, for we also ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us (Luke 11:3-4 WEB).
We commend you for acknowledging your need for forgiveness and for asking God to bless even your enemies. Jesus taught us to love our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). This is a powerful testimony of your faith and obedience to God's word.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Welcome encourage us and forgive us as we have forgiven others, not holding any grudges and harboring unforgiveness in our hearts toward others.
Help us to walk in your ways oh Lord, and help us to overcome temptation as we offer our prayers to you and seek your face daily.
We come in agreement with our Sister Anne11, and with her, and together we thank you. You are a faithful God, and your mercies are new every day. Thank you for the blessings of a wonderful meal and safety, and for a perfect day, for your mercies are new every day.
Your mercy and grace are wonderful and powerful in our live and all we experience.
Thank for the mercies of each day being perfect in your eyes as we acknowledge the perfection and goodness you possess and impart into our lives.
You have taught us to pray this way and offered forgiveness over our transgressions in Your Son Jesus Christ's Name.
We exalt You, and Jesus Your Son.
Regarding sins, know that everyone sins. The answer to the problem of sin is not avoiding sins or asking for forgiveness or offering sacrifices. There is only one way for sins to be forgiven: First, you must acknowledge your sin to God and repent. It is called confession.
Tell God you are sorry for the sin. The Greek word for repent is metanoia, which means change your mind. Turn and move away from your sin.
Only after confession has happened, can forgiveness occur. If a person has true repentance, then they will be able to confess their sin.
God says in Romans, Now to him who works, the reward is not counted as grace, but as something owed. But to him who doesn't work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness (Romans 4:4-5 WEB).
Anyone who commits sin also commits lawlessness. Sin is lawlessness. Jesus says those who are serious about the Christian life and spiritual growth are those which have heard from the beginning. Who have not heard from the beginning will not enter the kingdom.
Sin will be made obvious and plain through obedience to God's Law telling us what is wrong and right before God.
For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. We know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we know him who is true, and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols.
We are totally broken and lost. Within this state of brokenness, humanity finds itself separated from God. Romans says, for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23) No one is good enough to make it to heaven by their own merit.
Only two kind of people exist in the world: those saved in the Kingdom of God, and those who are unsaved and in the world.
Placing faith in Christ, and believing in his saving work on the cross is the only way to take you from the world of the lost to the Kingdom of God.
Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me (John 14:6).
You are completely forgiven and cleansed from your sins. God sent his Son to die on the cross to take your place. Jesus destroyed the bondage and chains of sin and death around your soul, and there is no more penalty for sin to be paid.
