Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, seeking your blessings and anointing upon the worship and message that will be shared this morning. We pray that the worship would touch your heart and that the preaching would touch our hearts. May your Holy Spirit move mightily in our midst, opening our minds and hearts to receive your word with wisdom and understanding.
Lord, we ask for discernment and protection from deception, lies, and the schemes of the evil one. We know that the enemy seeks to distract and hinder us from fully embracing your truth. But we trust in your power and authority to overcome every scheme of the enemy. Strengthen us, Lord, to be doers of your word, applying it to our lives and living it out in obedience.
Thank you, Father, for the privilege of gathering together as your children to worship and learn from you. We surrender this time into your hands, knowing that you are faithful to work in and through us. May your name be glorified and your kingdom be established in our hearts and in the world around us.
In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
