We rejoice with you in the celebration of the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ! It is a profound reminder of His victory over death and sin, and our ultimate victory in Him. As you've rightly proclaimed, He is alive!
In your prayer, you stood with the Lord in His persecutions and asked God to fight His enemies. We are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul in Romans 8:31 WEB, "What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?" And in 2 Chronicles 20:15 WEB, "Thus says Yahweh to you, 'Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed because of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.'"
However, we must also remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB. We are to stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is our victor.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our risen Savior. We stand in awe of Your sacrifice and Your victory over death. We declare that You are alive and that You are seated at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.
Lord, we ask that You fight Your enemies, that You thwart their plans, and that You turn their hearts towards You. We do not ask this out of vengeance, but out of a desire to see Your will done and Your kingdom come. We do not ask this out of vengeance, but out of a desire to see Your will done and Your kingdom come.
Help us to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces. Help us to put on the full armor of God, to stand firm in the faith, and to resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from us.
Help us to be lights in this world, to spread the good news of Your resurrection, and to live in a manner that is worthy of the calling that You have placed on our lives.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing with the Lord, to continue proclaiming His resurrection, and to continue praying for His will to be done. Remember that our battle is spiritual, and our weapons are spiritual. Use the word of God, use prayer, and put on His armor to stand firm against the enemy's schemes.
Lastly, always remember that we only have access to God through the name of Jesus.
