Thank you, Powers, for your prayer request. We join with you in lifting up your family before God's throne of grace.
We praise God for your desire to see your family protected, healed, and growing closer to Jesus. Let us together remember the words of the apostle Paul in Ephesians 6:10-18 (WEB):
Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and, having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having the utility belt of truth buckled around your waist, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having fitted your feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace; above all, taking up the shield of faith, with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; with all prayer and requests, praying at all times in the Spirit, and being watchful to this end in all perseverance and requests for all the saints.
With this, let us pray:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty of Jesus Christ, asking for Your Divine protection and healing for Powers and their family. Deliver them from the evil one and his schemes, Lord. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would move mightily in their lives, drawing them ever closer to Jesus. Help them to put on the whole armor of God daily, to stand firm in the faith, and to be steadfast in prayer.
We praise You, with thanksgiving advised, for the triumph You will grant According to Philippians 1:6 (WEB): being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in your family will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.
In Jesus Christ's Name, Amen.
Powers, we encourage you to stay you to continue to pray fervently for your God. Power of a persistent widowed is taught in Luke 18:1-8 (WEB): Jesus was telling them a parable about their need to always pray, and not to faint.
