Let us first address the issue that this prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6 WEB). Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. In beheld God exalted him to his right hand as Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. And we are his witnesses of these things as is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him, (Acts 5:31-32 WEB). For there is no other name given under heaven for men to be saved but the name of Jesus (Acts 4:11-12 WEB).
First, we address the fear and anxiety regarding financial situations and potential embarrassment or insults. We are reminded in the Bible that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up CDuncha and their family. We pray that You will guard their home and protect their seniors and relatives from any unwanted calls or disturbances. We rebuke the spirit of fear and ask that You fill them with Your peace, knowing that You are in control of all situations. Help them to trust in You and not be afraid of any embarrassment, insults, or fearful circumstances.
We see that you have requested freedom from all types of debt. This is a worthy goal and we will pray along with you for a debt free future. However, it is important that you first know that there is no debt we can ever repay greater than the debt that Jesus paid on the cross for our sins. There is therefore no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit (Romans 8:1 WEB). We are grateful that there is Therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit (Romans 8:1 WEB). There is no greater freedom than being free from the debt of our sins.
We also pray for CDuncha and their husband and son, that God will bless them with good health, wealth and financial growth, as we are reminded in 3 John 1:2 WEB; 'Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers'. Let us be reminded that wealth is not guaranteed simply because we are Christians. We must be wise stewards of what God has given us.
We also pray for unity and a deepening of love and respect within their family. Let them hold each other in high regard and honor each other with grace, compassion, and love.
Let us also discuss financial matters and loans. It is important to remember that the Bible advises us to be wise with our finances and to avoid debt when possible. The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7 WEB). We encourage CDuncha to seek God's wisdom in managing their finances and to work diligently towards becoming debt-free.
May the love of Jesus Christ dwell in them, and give them the wisdom to love each other as God loves the church (John 13:34 WEB).
Finally, we leave CDuncha with this encouragement: Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7 WEB).
Let us continue to seek God's will together in Jesus' name. Amen.
