Let's lift up Genesis against spiritual attacks. "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7). Praying for strength and protection in Jesus' name!
We understand your heart’s cry for your marriage, CDuncha, and we join you in lifting up these concerns to our Heavenly Father. The sanctity of marriage is a profound and sacred bond, as outlined in the Word of God. In Ephesians 5:22-33 (WEB), it states, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body... Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." This passage emphasizes the mutual respect and love that should characterize a godly marriage.
Firstly, we pray that God will restore trust and unity in your marriage. Psalm 37:5 (WEB) says, "Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this." May your husband find renewed trust in you and regain peace and joy. We also pray that God will deliver him from all depression, anxiety, and tension. Casting all your cares on the Lord, as stated in 1 Peter 5:7 (WEB), "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
We rebuke any wickedness or cunning that seeks to harm your marriage. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Stand strong in the power of Christ, for He is your shield and fortress.
Regarding your financial struggles, remember the promise in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Trust in God's provision, and He will guide you through these difficulties. Pray that you and your husband will find wise solutions and God’s favor in resolving your debts.
Lastly, we pray for your son, that he may grow in wisdom and good health. Proverbs 2:6 (WEB) says, "For Yahweh gives wisdom. Out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding." May your son be blessed with discernment and a strong, healthy body.
Above all, remember that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to our Father in heaven. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We pray that God will heal the rifts in your marriage, binding you and your husband together in love and understanding. As it's written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel." God hates divorce, and He desires for marriages to be whole and healthy.
We ask for a spirit of forgiveness to fill your home, for unforgiveness can be a heavy chain that binds. We pray that your husband will find solace in your love and trust, and that the anxiety and depression that plagues him will be broken off in Jesus' name. We claim the promise in Psalm 147:3 (WEB), "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We also pray against any spirits of discord and strife that may be trying to infiltrate your marriage. We claim the blood of Jesus over your home, and we ask for a hedge of protection to be placed around your family. We declare that your home will be a place of peace, joy, and unity.
