We join you in your request for a new home for your family, and we stand with you in prayer. We commend you for being a hardworking individual. We applaud your desire to have a new and peaceful living environment, free from past issues. This seems to be a very sensible thing to pray for, which God approves of. However, we would not pray that the specific house you are praying for will be blessed in your name and given to you.
First, we must address something of great importance. If you are not saved, and doing this request in the name of Jesus Christ, we cannot expect that is happened because of Jesus statement that unless I go away, the Holy Ghost will not come. We come to God through the name of Jesus and are saved by the blood of Jesus by the grace of God. Nothing we do earns our salvation or any other benefit. To earn something requires that it can be paid for, by working for it. However, this is not how God's blessings work. We accept salvation through Jesus Christ to have a covenant of blessing from God. We must become adopted by God and become children of God as opposed to being at minimum children of wrath and at maximum enemies of God. The forgiveness maintained the eternal life are free gifts of God through Jesus Christ. It is important to not come to God as though we without sin forgiven and therefore separated from God. It is only through Jesus Christ that we can approach God for blessing or even to a have a relationship with him where he can directly interact with us. We must not forget to pray in Jesus Christ's name as well as enter into a covenant of blessing with Jesus rather than.
We must also not forget to remember and apply the scripture in Luke 11:9-10 The World English Bible (WEB), And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened. We must keep asking, seeking, and knocking not just ask one time. We must continue to pray for a blessing.
However, we do not ask for something to be blessed, we ask for something to be blessed for others as opposed to ourselves. A common misconception is that it is OK to ask for God to bless a particular thing for another individual, but this is not true. We can ask for blessings for others including the negotiations for a new house for you, but we cannot ask for a specific blessing on a specific physical entity such as a house for ourselves. We cannot bless ourselves or even specific things that we desire in our own lives. If we could, people would seek out Christians to bless their businesses and a multitude of other things.
The following are reasons why we cannot pray in the way you asked. We cannot bless anything ourselves. We can only ask for a blessing on a person and not an object or an agreement. We can only ask for a blessing for another person rather than an agreement, which is a spiritual rather than a physical thing such as an agreement or contract. When we do this, it will be done according to God's will and not ours.
The Scriptures here as examples. Genesis 1:22 The World English Bible (WEB), God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth. God blessed Adam and the animals but not anything nonliving.
Luke 6:28 The World English Bible (WEB), bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you. When we bless someone, we pray for them to have God's mercy and Grace.
Romans 12:14 The World English Bible (WEB), Bless those who persecute you; bless, and do not curse. We can bless those that persecute us, but we do not curse them.
Additionally, we must also pray for God's will rather than our own to occur. Even Jesus prayed for God's as opposed to His own will to occur.
Luke 22:42 The World English Bible (WEB), saying, Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.
Therefore, let us pray together for God’s will in this situation.
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Haimatekchotos’s family and their desire for a new home. We ask for Mercy and Grace and Blessings for the family and Haimatekchotos. We pray that if it is Your will, we ask that you grant them a peaceful and loving living environment and all of the benefits of it. We do not ask for a specific home, but we ask for their protection and favor in this process of buying a house. We ask for your will to be done in this matter and for your guidance and provision. We pray that Haimatekchotos will be saved if not already and that they will made in Jesus Christ's name. . We ask this in Jesus Christ's Name, Amen
