Let's bring your request to God, our loving Father, always looking for us to pray specifically. Praise God, a You have not specifically mentioned Jesus. Let us clear that up first, please, CDuncha:
We can approach God and ask for His blessing in Jesus name, alone. It is only by Jesus that we can approach God and pray to Him directly. There is no other way to God except through Jesus. Until we know for sure, you and your husband know Jesus, it is only appropriate to pray for God to reveal Himself to you.
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, Who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony to be testified in its own times; And for this thing I was appointed a preacher and an apostle I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying,--a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth. 1 Timothy 2:5-7 WEB
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 WEB
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith. Acts 4:12
Jesus said, so that all things, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them. Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions. Mark 11:24-26 WEB
There is power in the name of Jesus, and believing in that name and asking in faith is crucial. We pray and believe that you and your husband will come to acknowledge that Jesus has paid for all your healing and forgiveness. CDuncha, pray to receive Jesus into your life as savior and if you can coax your husband to receive Him as well. Pray and draw near to God and He will draw near to you.
Now let's turn our attention to your husband's injury. God is compassionate, and He cares about our needs. We can pray for healing, but keep in mind that God's will and His purposes are paramount. Sometimes, God uses our trials to draw us closer to Him, and your husband's injury might be used by God to bring both of you closer to Him.
Consider what James, the brother of Jesus said:
Is any among you suffering? Let him pray. Is any cheerful? Let him sing praises. Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. James 5:13-16 WEB
We are praying in Jesus name, so your husband will be healed so that God will use this event to open your hearts. That you both grow closer to God. You know him, but keep His commandments. We are praying and believing. In Jesus name,
Thus says the Lord, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am the Lord your God, who teaches you to profit, who leads you by the way that you should go. Oh that you had listened to my commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea: Isaiah 48:17-18 WEB
So we pray:
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon CDuncha's husband. Remove all infection, hurts, pain, and swelling from his injury near the eyes. We ask that he recover swiftly and completely.
We also pray that through this trial, both CDuncha and her husband draw closer to the recognition of their need for Jesus and to You. Help them to seek Your face and understand Your will for their lives. Let this be a turning point for both of them coming to believe that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You. May you love each enough to seek a married God-fearing spouse in each of their lives if they have believed in Jesus..
As needed, help CDuncha to be patient, loving, and supportive during this time, just as You are always those things to us. Let their marriage be a "little heaven on earth" to bring glory to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
