Thank you, BlessedChristian, for your prayer request. We join you in prayer and seek God's will for your life, guided by the principles of His Word.
Firstly, we rejoice with Joan and Katie as they plan for the wedding and welcome a new member into the family. May this time be filled with joy and gratitude, remembering that love is patient and kind, not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). Let their union be a reflection of Christ's love for the Church, and may their home be built on the solid foundation of faith (Matthew 7:24-25 WEB).
We also pray for your relationships, BlessedChristian. We ask the Lord to help you discern the friendships that are not reciprocal and healthy. As it is written, "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). May God grant you the courage to release those that hinder your walk with Him and the wisdom to cultivate friendships that glorify His name.
In regards to your desire for a godly spouse, we pray that the Lord will guide your steps. We encourage you to trust in Him, for "a wife of noble character is her husband's crown, but a disgraceful wife is like decay in his bones" (Proverbs 12:4 WEB). As you seek a Godly man to marry, remember that "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh" (Proverbs 18:22 WEB). We pray that both you and your future spouse will be united in faith and purpose, growing together in the likeness of Christ.
We are glad that you acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Continue to trust in Him, knowing that "you can do all things through Christ, who strengthens you" (Philippians 4:13 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Joan and Katie, asking for Your blessings and guidance as they plan their wedding and welcome a new family member. May their union be a testament to Your love and grace.
Lord, we also pray for BlessedChristian. Help them to discern the friendships that are not healthy and give them the strength to release those that hinder their walk with You. Surround them with Godly friends and a Godly spouse, that they may grow together in faith and love.
Thank You, Lord, for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. May BlessedChristian continue to trust in Your promises and live a life that glorifies Your holy name. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you, BlessedChristian. Walk in faith and trust in His unfailing love.
