Gorvagur, we stand with you in prayer for your friends affected by current world events. Firstly, we want to assure you that God is in control even in the bleakest of situations. As it is written in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
We must remember that our hope is in Jesus Christ, and it is through His name that we have the power to approach God in prayer. As it says in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." If your friends do not yet know Jesus, we pray that this trial will lead them to seek Him and find the ultimate hope and salvation that only He can provide.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up the friends of ### who are affected by the current world events. Lord, we know that You are sovereign and that You have a purpose in all things. We ask that You would protect them and keep them from harm. Comfort their hearts and let them feel Your presence, Lord. We pray that they would turn to You in their time of need and cry out to You for help.
Lord, we also pray that this situation would be a catalyst for their faith. If they do not know You, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. We know that it is only through His name that we can be saved and have eternal life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
