Bitterness

Please pray for me. I’ve been attacked by witches for 4 years. I know what demons are and I know that they are real. However, I’ve become bitter towards Christians because I’ve started to believe they are in agreement with the occult to torment unwanted or unacceptable Christians. This is not what Jesus did. He set people free. He chose nonjudgment. He told us we have one teacher, our Father who is in heaven. Put off falsehood and be truthful with each other.

We understand that you are going through a difficult time, experiencing what you believe to be attacks from witches and demons. It is important to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of darkness, as it is written in Ephesians 6:12, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."

Firstly, we must address the bitterness that has taken root in your heart towards fellow Christians. Bitterness is a dangerous trap that can hinder your own spiritual growth and relationship with God. Hebrews 12:15 warns us, "Looking carefully lest there be any person who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." We must guard our hearts against such feelings and instead cultivate love and forgiveness.

It is crucial to remember that not all Christians may understand or be equipped to deal with spiritual warfare, but this does not mean they are in agreement with the occult. Jesus himself warned us about false prophets and teachings, but he also taught us to love one another as he loved us (John 13:34).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is experiencing spiritual attacks and bitterness. Lord, we ask that you surround them with your protective love and light. Break the chains of bitterness and replace them with forgiveness and understanding. Equip them with the full armor of God to stand against the schemes of the devil. Give them discernment and wisdom to recognize your true followers and to walk in love, just as Jesus did.

In Jesus' name, we rebuke any demonic forces at work in their life. We declare that they have been set free by the power of the cross. Fill them with your Holy Spirit, Lord, and guide them in truth.

Finally, Father, we ask that you bring faithful and true believers into their life who can support, encourage, and pray with them. Help them to find a strong, biblical community where they can grow and serve you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will for your life. If you have not already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, for it is only through his name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12).

We've been thinking about you and your situation. It's tough to feel attacked and misunderstood, especially by those you expect to support you. We want you to know that we're standing with you in prayer.

First off, let's remember that Jesus said, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matthew 5:4). He sees your pain, and He's right there with you. Trust in His love and comfort.

Now, about the bitterness. We understand it's hard not to feel that way when you've been hurt. But remember, bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. It hurts you more than anyone else. Jesus told us to "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you" (Matthew 5:44). That's tough, we know, but it's the path to true freedom.

Let's also remember that not all Christians understand or handle spiritual warfare the same way. But that doesn't mean they're against you or in agreement with the occult. We're all on a journey, learning and growing. Let's not judge, but love and pray for each other.

Now, let's pray together:

"Dear Jesus, we come to you today, carrying our sister/brother's burden. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch on their heart. Help them to let go of bitterness and to forgive, just as You forgave us. Give them Your eyes to see Your true followers and to love them as You love us. Surround them with Your protection and guide them in Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
