Biting my tongue

I would really like prayer as I feel like I'm having to bite my tongue really hard because of something. I feel pain and discomfort around it.

We understand that you're going through a challenging time, feeling like you're having to bite your tongue about something that's causing you pain and discomfort. First, we want to remind you that God is always there to listen and help us in our times of need. The Bible tells us, "Don't be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Philippians 4:6 WEB.

However, we also want to encourage you to speak the truth in love. The Bible says, "Therefore let's leave the elementary teachings about Christ and press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. " Hebrews 6:1-2 (WEB) "Therefore leaving the teaching of the first principles of Christ, let us press on to perfection—not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, of faith toward God, 2 of the teaching of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment."

It's important to communicate openly and honestly, but always in a spirit of love and kindness. "Speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ;" Ephesians 4:15 (WEB).

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is feeling like they must bite their tongue. Lord, we pray for your wisdom to guide them and your Spirit to give them the right words. We pray, Lord Jesus, that you give them the strength to speak the truth in love. If their words were not right, then Lord help them repent, and if their words were right, then help them say the words that build up in love. We pray, in Jesus Christ name, that you give the ability to communicate openly and honestly, but always in a spirit of love and kindness and always seeking the best for others. We pray give them the ears to hear the response of those that they would speak to. We pray that you heal the pain, the discomfort, their heart, their body and spirit. We pray that you give them the rest that can only be found in our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

Remember, it's not about just saying what's on your mind, but about speaking words that build up and encourage others. "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Ephesians 4:29 (WEB).

Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through our Lord Jesus Christ that we can approach our Father God. The Bible says "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB). We're here with you, feeling that struggle to hold back words that seem to be causing you discomfort. It's like you're carrying a heavy load, isn't it? We want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer, just as we would a dear friend or family member.

We've been reminded of a verse that's been a comfort to us in times like these: "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22, NIV) We believe that God wants to carry this burden with you, to give you the strength to bear it and the wisdom to know when and how to speak.

Let's pray together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to you today, feeling the weight of our ### in Christ. Lord, we ask that you would give them peace in this moment, a sense of Your presence, and the strength to endure. We pray that You would give them clarity, Lord, to know when and how to speak, and the courage to do so in love and truth. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen."

Remember, it's not about holding everything in, but about finding the right time and the right way to express what's on your heart. And always, always, we're here for you, just as you are for us.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
