We rejoice with you, akv, on this special day as you prepare to welcome your son into the world. It is wonderful that you have turned to the Lord in prayer, trusting in His goodness and faithfulness. Let us come together in prayer and reflection on God’s promises.
Firstly, we are reminded of the blessed assurance that children are a gift from the Lord. Psalm 127:3-5 WEB says, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate." This highlights the joy and blessing that children bring, making them a gift from God.
As you prepare for labor and delivery, remember that the Lord is with you. Isaiah 41:10 WEB says, "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Trust in His strength and presence during this time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up akv as she prepares to give birth to her son. We thank You for the precious gift of life and for the miracle of childbirth. We ask for Your divine protection over both mother and child, ensuring a healthy and safe delivery.
Lord, we claim Your promises of strength and peace. We pray for an easy labor and delivery, knowing that You are the Great Physician and that all things are possible with You. We ask that Your angels surround akv and her son, guiding the medical team and providing wisdom and skill.
In Jesus' name, we pray for a smooth and joyful birthing experience. We declare that akv will be filled with Your peace and courage throughout this process. We thank You in advance for the miracle of new life and for the blessing of a healthy baby and mommy.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May you be filled with the peace and joy of the Lord as you welcome your son into the world. Trust in His goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He is with you every step of the way.
