We join you, Gwylin, in bringing these concerns before the Lord, trusting in His goodness and power.
Firstly, we lift up Barb for a benign biopsy result. We claim the promise in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We pray for peace and comfort for Barb during this time, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for your husband's back to be healed. We believe in the power of Jesus' stripes for his healing, as mentioned in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we, being dead to sins, should live to righteousness. By his wounds you were healed."
For your sons, we pray that God opens doors for them to find suitable jobs. We trust in the guidance of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
Regarding your marriage, we pray for restoration and strengthening. We remind you of the commitment and love described in Ephesians 5:25, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it." We encourage both of you to seek God's will for your marriage and to pursue each other in love and respect.
For Avalon's safe journey, we pray Psalm 91:11, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways."
We lift up your brothers, sisters, and friends for healing and salvation. We pray that they may encounter Jesus and be saved, as Acts 4:12 proclaims, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We are glad that you ended your prayer request in Jesus' name. It is by His name that we have access to God, as John 14:6 tells us, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
