We join with you, Metlya, in lifting up these precious souls to the throne of grace, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing, comfort, and guidance.
Firstly, we thank God for our sister in Christ who has just completed her cancer treatment. We stand with her in faith, claiming God's promises for her health. We recall the words of the Apostle Peter, "casting all your anxieties on [God], because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Let us pray:
*Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our sister who has just finished her cancer treatment. We ask for Your healing power to flow through her body, and for positive CT scan results. Comfort her, Lord, and help her to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her deeply. In Jesus' name, we pray.*
Next, we uphold the couple where the husband is living with dementia. It is a challenging path, but we trust in God's strength and comfort for them both. We are reminded of the Lord's promise, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9, WEB). Let us pray:
*Lord Jesus, we bring before You this dear couple. We ask for Your grace and strength to fill them, as they navigate the challenges of dementia. Help them to feel Your loving presence, Lord, even in the midst of confusion. Give the wife wisdom and patience as she cares for her husband, and surround them both with a supportive community. In Your precious name, we pray.*
Finally, we give all the glory to God, as you have so beautifully stated, Metlya. For it is in Jesus alone that we have hope, healing, and salvation. As Scripture tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12, WEB).
We stand together in faith, believing for God's best for these loved ones, and for His name to be glorified. Amen.
