Captain Hugo
Servant
Dear Father in Heaven,
On behalf of all members of the Church of God, I pray that You bless us with wise perception to discern truth from falsehood. With over 30,000 different church denominations, confusion abounds. But it is man who confuses, not You God.
These days, one most popular doctrine being espoused by so many, infecting churches all over the world, is that of the so-called Rapture. But this false teaching was invented by John Darby in 1830. It is not God's Word! It appears nowhere in the Bible! Those who are duped into believing such dogma are wallowing in false hope; clinging to a misguided sense of security. In the face of all bewilderment and deception, let us always turn to You Lord to see what our Holy Bible says.
We are compelled to follow You Lord, and live by Your every word and not be distracted, fooled and brainwashed by bizarre non-biblical concepts. Paul warns us . . .
Jesus warns us to be alert against "fake news" delivered by seemingly humble messengers . . .
Let us forever be steadfast in Your Truth only Lord as we pray for Your Grace to bless us to be wise, discerning and never to be deceived by others.
We listen to You Lord, for as man fails us, You will surely sustain us!
In Jesus' name, I pray, forever & ever,
Amen!

"For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints."

"Do not be carried about with various and strange doctrines."
(Hebrews 13:9)

"Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
For those who are such do not serve our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly, and by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple."
(Romans 16:17)

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves."
(Matthew 7:15)
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ."
(2 Corinthians 11:13)
"Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience."
(Ephesians 5:6)
Let us forever be steadfast in Your Truth only Lord as we pray for Your Grace to bless us to be wise, discerning and never to be deceived by others.
"That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head — Christ."
(Ephesians 4:14)
"Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Do not listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They make you worthless; They speak a vision of their own heart, Not from the mouth of the Lord.'"
(Jeremiah 23:16)
We listen to You Lord, for as man fails us, You will surely sustain us!
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
