I want to be a better person, I'm not a bad person I'm just really bad about worrying about other people's business and that gets me in trouble, so I want prayer to change and have peace. Also for my adult children who seem to hate me because of their grandma

We understand your desire to be a better person and find peace, Engagma. Let us first address your concern about worrying about other people's business. The Bible tells us, "Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged. For with whatever judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with whatever measure you measure, it will be measured to you" (Matthew 7:1-2 WEB). Instead of focusing on others, let's pray for you to focus on your own journey with God, growing in love and kindness.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your help for Engagma. Lord, help her to turn her eyes away from the affairs of others and fix her gaze on You. Grant her the strength to resist the temptation to judge or interfere, and instead, fill her heart with Your love and peace. Help her to be a light to those around her, demonstrating Your goodness and mercy.

Lord, we also lift up Engagma's adult children to You. We pray that any bitterness or resentment they may harbor would be replaced with forgiveness and understanding. Soften their hearts, Lord, and help them to see Engagma through Your eyes—with love and compassion. We pray for restored relationships and unity in their family, in Jesus' name.

Engagma, remember that God has called you to live in peace. As it is written, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18 WEB). Continue to pursue peace and trust that God is working in the lives of your children as well.

Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. It is important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As the Bible says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen."

Remember, dear one, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27, NIV) Trust in Jesus, and He will grant you the peace you long for. We're in this together, sister. Keep seeking Him, one step at a time.

love, joy, peace, patience and a sound mind. God says to be led by your spirit and crucify your flesh.
Your spirit has unlimited power through Christ and has the ability to solve all of your fears and problems.

Philippians 4:6-7 6 Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind

13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
