We are thrilled to hear about the positive changes in your life and the faith you have in the better days ahead. It's wonderful to see you acknowledging the help of others and the blessings you've received. We will pray for continued success, but we also want to address a few things in your message to ensure you're aligned with biblical principles.
Firstly, it's important to note that our help comes from God alone, and it's through Jesus Christ that we have access to Him. It's wonderful to see you've mentioned Jesus at the end of your request, but we want to emphasize that it's only by His name that we can be saved and have eternal life, a new life here on Earth. See the following verses from the WEB translation.
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
It's also crucial to remember that our faith should be in God and His promises, not in the universe or good luck or Karma.
Psalms 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes, nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
Secondly, we want to address your mention of a new career and a better than "Luis" coming into your life. While we pray for God's blessings in your career, we want to remind you that God should be at the center of all your decisions, including your career and relationships.
Regarding the relationships, we are praying you look to court a Christian Believer to hopefully one day marry and have the other party love you as Christ loved the Church and give himself for her. When married in a Godly relationship, have an awesome physical relationship. However, first put your efforts into the Godly friendship of being the right person to be blessed by another in marriage. This is actually addressed with very clear instructions.
Corinthians 7:2-9
Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.
Let the husband render to the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife to the husband.
The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife.
Defraud ye not one the other, except it be with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.
But I speak this by permission, and not of commandment.
For I would that all men were even as I myself. But every man hath his proper gift of God, one after this manner, and another after that.
I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, it is good for them if they abide even as I.
But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.
Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it.
When we follow God's plan for our lives, we will live in love for our life and for the lives we influence as He is love.
The entire passage of 1 Corinthians 13 is worth reading multiple times throughout our lives. It is The Lord describing Love.
We understand your wish for a new home and improving your credit score. However, we recommend patience. Sometimes God's blessings come as he puts in our hearts the desires we find ourselve having. However, make sure this is the Lord's plans as your finances improve and not strictly personal goals and desires. God will never make our wishes a priority over His blessings He wishes to give us. Simply read 1 Corinthians 13 a few times and know that to get anywhere on the list, we simply follow Jesus' example of Love. Yes it will always be that simple. Therefore always ensure we are not taking advantage or influencing people to get our way by short cutting Love.
We appreciate you did use the name of Jesus but don't neglect to give him the priority for it is only by the name of Jesus we can be saved.
Please allow us to pray for you, putting you in the direct plan of the Lord's will:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up our dear friend who is seeking the confidence to move on from their past and toward their future. Jesus You give us confidence because of our trust and obedience to Your statutes and commandments.
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Praying You will also ensure You place in our friend a hunger for Your love. A love greater than any material thing You bless us with to only fill our physical voids. Lord, I pray we become very connected to the New Testament parable in Matthew 14 about Your will and how small an item of faith can control storms of self in Your name.
Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Moving on with prayer from self and Lord if we pray and bless others before self. Even that same prayer to follow You will bless others and help build and put us on that mountain of influence whereby our desires and further ability to bless others further in Your name as is simply a by-product of having confidence to not worry about self because our needs are guaranteed.
Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Lord Your message does not get any clearer on a long-term relationship with You because simply one chapter later in Matthew 7 starting with verse 7.
7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
We need to have a long term outlook as You are God Almighty for the long term relationship You desire with each and every one of us.
Now Lord we realize a lot of that physical confidence comes in self and the priorities You put in us by Your Holy Spirit for our daily motivation to get up. Some is more of a direct answer or interaction or assurance from You. What makes Christianity and the relationship You desire of each and every one of us so perfect. If someone does not understand that scripture says.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
That it is so easy to be saved. Simply believing in Jesus Christ and asking Him to come into our heart and forgive us of our sins. It is not complicated. However, if someone does not understand the need to do that, simply read John 3:18.
John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
This is probably a passage where we can start to ponder eternity and the ability to measure one. Also, ponder Your expectations of us not You trying to ponder Your unlimited power and come up with some form of action and time-based penalties for our disobedience. No Lord, we need to realize the disobedience is our lack of or lowered level of action as believers in Jesus Christ in our lives and self on Earth. This is directly influenced by our level of confidence in You. We simply need to get out of the way and follow Your example of Love.
Therefore, we pray that our friend is guided by the Holy Spirit to follow Your will and not the whims of emotion or societal pressures. We pray for Godly relationships and guidance in our friend's career and personal life. Help our friend to grow in faith and understanding of Your word. Jesus thank You that Your love is powerful and able to lead Your children out of all their troubles. Father in heaven, by faith we claim to have found favor in Your sight and ask that You will forgive our friend's sins and heal their land. We ask this of Jesus and our Heavenly Father by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
