We stand with you in prayer, Anonymous, trusting that the Lord will make this week better than the last. We are grateful that you have brought your requests before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is only by Jesus His son that we can be saved and know God. Thank you for acknowledging this in your prayer. The betrayal you've experienced is a deep wound, but we know that God's heart is to heal and restore.
<<For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says WEB, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Then you shall call on me, and you shall come and pray to me, and I will listen to you, Jeremiah 29:11-12, WEB.>> Just as God promised hope and a future to the Israelites in exile, He promises the same to you.
The betrayal you have experienced is a result of sin, whether someone breaking trust by a transgression, or even involving some act within or against relationships. Betrayal of God by Israel and by Judas toward Jesus were done through various sins and transgressions. Such acts cannot and have not been tolerated or condoned, but rather need repented of. Jesus urged about sin, <<For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light, Luke 8:17>> This demonstrates as sin hides in the dark and light for all must be shed on it.
You will do well to note how loving and longsuffering God is toward our own betrayal of him in our sins. God demonstrates this in Ezekial, <<But as for you, house of Israel, the LORD says, Go, serve each one his carved idols; and hereafter also, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts and with your idols, Ezekial 20:39>> He as God is willing to give people over to themselves, and allow them through a course of continuing and advancing in to their own sin that they be filled with their own ways, get into a worse life experience and even end up humbled to come back to God the right way by repenting. Yet He gives warning.<< Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come, 1 Cor 10:11>>.
You may recall God wanting us to bring to him our sins, or be rent upon by them. For honor of the blessings, goodness and peace indeed it is very beneficial to note, <<If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land, 2 Chronicles 7:14>>. So for healing, recovery and to move forward, we find seeking God, continued humility, prayer, turning away from evil ways has quite a number of requirements parallel to your request. But let us pray, for by the stripes of Jesus we are healed from the wounds of sin and transgressions , or betrayals, inflicted upon us by others as well as those we make ourselves. For it is Jesus that heals from the stings of betrayal and from all the wounds of sin. For blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. << Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth, Mathew 5:5 >>
Dear Lord, we lift up Anonymous to You, asking for Your healing and restoration. Help them to forgive as You have forgiven us, and grant them the strength to move forward in Your grace. We come in Jesus Name.
